Day 1: Arrival in Palangka Raya – Journey to Punggu Alas, Sebangau (L/D)

Your adventure begins upon arrival at Palangka Raya Airport, where your guide will pick you up for a 4-hour drive to Kereng Pakahi Village. Enjoy a simple lunch en route or at Kruing Village, followed by a traditional welcome ceremony by the Dayak Ender tribe. Take a short village walk to learn about Dayak livelihoods and culture.

In the rainy season, the adventure gets even more thrilling — hop on a small canoe and travel down the Punggu Alas River for around 1.5 hours to reach the Visitor Centre of Sebangau National Park. Upon arrival, settle into a simple guesthouse at Punggu Alas Camp, rest, and after dinner, join a night trekking tour to spot nocturnal wildlife.

Day 2: Explore the Jungle of Sebangau (B/L/D)

After breakfast, your local guide will lead you on a forest trek through the endemic vegetation of Kalimantan. Keep your eyes open for hornbills, ant nests, wild orangutans and their nests, monitor lizards, and many other species. These sightings are not guaranteed, as all animals live freely in the wild.

Return to camp for lunch. In the afternoon, take a motorized canoe to Lake Punggu Alas, deeper inside the park. Look out for birdlife and try fishing for dinner.

Day 3: Back to Palangka Raya via Kaja Island & Love Hill (B)

Enjoy optional light trekking in the morning before breakfast. Afterward, pack up and say goodbye to the people at the camp. A simple lunch will be provided along the way.

Next, stop by Sei Gohong Village and board a motorized canoe along the Rungan River to Kaja Island, while spotting proboscis monkeys, hornbills, and eagles. If weather permits, climb Love Hill for a beautiful sunset view. Return to the lodge in Palangka Raya for overnight. Enjoy some free time before your transfer to the airport, hotel, or bus station for your next destination.
